Terms of Use
Effective date: May 30, 2026
1. Agreement to these terms
Welcome to family.louislawgroup.com (the “Website”), operated by Louis Law Group, PLLC (“Louis Law Group,” “the firm,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By accessing or using this Website, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Use and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use this Website.
2. No attorney-client relationship
Using this Website — including submitting the intake questionnaire, booking a consultation, or sending us an email or message — does not create an attorney-client relationship between you and Louis Law Group, PLLC or any of its attorneys. An attorney-client relationship is formed only when you and the firm sign a written engagement agreement. Until that agreement is executed, do not send us confidential or time-sensitive information, and understand that anything you submit may not be treated as privileged.
3. Not legal, financial, or other professional advice
The information on this Website is provided for general informational purposes only. It does not constitute legal advice and is not a substitute for advice from a licensed attorney regarding your specific circumstances. Nothing here constitutes financial, tax, accounting, or other professional advice. Family law is fact-specific and the law changes; always consult a qualified professional about your individual situation.
4. Attorney advertising; no guarantee of results
This Website constitutes attorney advertising under Rules 4-7.11 through 4-7.21 of the Rules Regulating The Florida Bar. The hiring of a lawyer is an important decision that should not be based solely on advertising. Any case results, testimonials, or descriptions of prior matters are not a guarantee or prediction of the outcome of any other matter; every case is unique and is evaluated on its own facts.
5. Geographic scope
The family law practice described on this Website is limited to the State of Florida. Nothing on this Website is an offer to represent you in, or a statement that the firm is licensed to practice in, any other jurisdiction. If you access this Website from outside Florida, you do so on your own initiative and are responsible for compliance with local laws.
6. Permitted use and prohibited activities
You may use this Website only for lawful purposes and only as permitted by these Terms. You agree not to:
- bypass or attempt to bypass any security measure that restricts access to the Website;
- impersonate another person or misrepresent your identity;
- use any robot, scraper, or data-mining tool to access or extract data from the Website;
- decompile, reverse engineer, or disassemble any software that is part of the Website;
- interfere with or disrupt the Website or the servers and networks that support it;
- use the Website to harass, threaten, or defraud any person, or for any criminal or tortious purpose; or
- use the Website in any way that violates applicable law or regulation.
7. Payments and electronic transactions
Where the Website allows you to pay a consultation fee or retainer online, you authorize us and our payment processor to charge the amount presented. Payments are handled by a third-party payment provider, and your card information is processed subject to that provider's terms and security practices. By submitting information or completing a transaction electronically, you agree that your electronic submissions and signatures are valid and binding, and you accept responsibility for reviewing all terms before completing any transaction.
8. Consent to contact (calls and text messages)
By providing your telephone number(s) to us, you authorize Louis Law Group, PLLC and its agents and employees to contact you at those number(s) regarding your inquiry, your potential matter, or services we provide. This may include phone calls, text (SMS) messages, and pre-recorded or artificial-voice messages, including through an automatic telephone dialing system. Standard message and data rates may apply. You represent that any number you provide is your own. You may opt out of text messages at any time by replying STOP, and you may withdraw consent to calls by contacting us. Phone calls with the firm may be recorded for quality and accuracy.
9. Intellectual property
All content on this Website — text, graphics, logos, and design — is owned by or licensed to Louis Law Group, PLLC and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may view and print pages for your personal, non-commercial use, but you may not copy, republish, or distribute any content without our prior written permission.
10. Disclaimer
THIS WEBSITE AND ITS CONTENT ARE PROVIDED ON AN “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” BASIS. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, LOUIS LAW GROUP, PLLC DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE MAKE NO WARRANTY THAT THE WEBSITE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE, OR THAT ANY CONTENT IS ACCURATE OR COMPLETE.
11. Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, LOUIS LAW GROUP, PLLC AND ITS ATTORNEYS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, SPECIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, REVENUE, OR DATA, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THIS WEBSITE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATING TO THE WEBSITE WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT, IF ANY, YOU PAID TO US FOR SERVICES IN THE THREE (3) MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM. NOTHING IN THESE TERMS LIMITS ANY LIABILITY THAT CANNOT BE LIMITED UNDER APPLICABLE LAW OR THE RULES REGULATING THE FLORIDA BAR.
12. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Louis Law Group, PLLC and its attorneys, employees, and agents from any claim, loss, liability, or expense (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of your use of the Website, your breach of these Terms, or your violation of any law or the rights of any third party.
13. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Subject to the arbitration provision below, you agree to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Florida for any dispute arising under these Terms.
14. Dispute resolution; arbitration; class-action waiver
Except for claims for injunctive or equitable relief and disputes regarding intellectual property or data security, any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or this Website will be resolved by binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association (AAA) or JAMS under their rules then in effect, before a single neutral arbitrator. Arbitration will take place in Miami, Florida, or remotely if both parties agree. Each party bears its own costs and fees unless the applicable rules or the arbitrator provide otherwise, and proceedings are confidential except as required by law. All claims must be brought individually: you and Louis Law Group, PLLC waive any right to participate in a class action or class-wide arbitration. The arbitrator's decision is final and binding and may be enforced in any court of competent jurisdiction. This section does not apply to any dispute arising under a signed engagement agreement, which is governed by the dispute-resolution terms of that agreement.
15. Changes to these terms
We may modify these Terms at any time. Updated Terms will be posted on this page with a new effective date and take effect when posted. Your continued use of the Website after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
16. Miscellaneous
If any provision of these Terms is held unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full effect. Our failure to enforce any provision is not a waiver of it. These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, are the entire agreement between you and us regarding your use of the Website. Section headings are for convenience only.
